Grocery shopping with kids for better health

It seems that the result of a study by researchers at the university of Texas proves that taking your kids on the weekly grocery shop can help them to see food in a healthier way. They believe that by seeing fruit and vegetables in their original state could give kids a better upstanding of where it comes from and how to prepare different foods. This will then make them eat healthier.

Naturally there is a downside to all of this, have any of these researchers ever taken a bunch of kids around a supermarket? It is enough to put you off going there ever again.

On the food side, would seeing raw vegetables actually encourage kids to eat healthy or would they think that it is easier to go to the local take away and buy some chips?
