eBay suffers from changing fees
It would seem that the love affair with eBay the online auction is fading for some sellers who have over the years built up very successful business around the site and have also helped eBay become what it is today.
But the recent changes in how the site charges sellers for placing their items on the site has upset many long term users and at the same time is also putting pressure on new arrivals too.
What they have done is reduce the initial upfront payments, which is good for small businesses and individuals because their outlay is lower and increased the final value payment, which means that the sellers have to pay more to eBay. But also for new sellers it seems that if their feedback is low they are required to use the eBay payment processor PayPal. Maybe eBay users have had it too easy for too long and now its time to join the real world of business.
