Shopping basket no sales not followed up
It would seem that there is a lot of lost business happening on many ecommerce sites. But it does not necessarily have to be like that at all. What we are talking about here is the amount of times that an online shopper goes through the buying process only to bail out when it comes to the shopping basket.
It is estimated that around seventy per cent of business do not follow up these buyers who for some reason or another fail to complete the buying process by actually checking out. This is a huge amount of business to be letting go for a reason that is unknown, it could be something simple or just something that is missing from the buying process.
The easy way to deal with this matter would be with a follow up email, this can be made in a very light non pushy way, but could result in a decent amount of people returning to the online store and actually going through the purchase, having had their worries cleared up.
