Shopping by moonlight

Sounds nice, but this sort of shopping means staying up, or getting out of bed early and going online!

In America there is a little known trend in shopping circles that means by shopping at the quiet times could mean better deals, with early discounts and late night specials being offered.

The big stores such as Sears and Kohl’s are getting used to this and have begun to test the market by offering special deals that run from around mid night until the early hours, this is probably due to the fact that these stores operate more or less 24 hours a day. But in the early hours of the morning it is dead quiet and so works out more expressive for the stores to operate.

This is a great concept and would nice to see something like this happening in the UK!
