Gay marriage cards on the way

Hallmark is the largest greetings cards company in the US, so they are unlikely to be one of those firms that get things wrong, which is why we should be looking at their latest product. The new line for 2008 is same sex marriage cards in a variety of designs.

This move follows the legalisation of same sex marriages in two states and the acceptance of these ceremonies in many other States, which would probably mean that eventually this would become an everyday occurrence in the US.

So the question is why now, in the UK there have been same sex ceremonies for a while now, and there has not really been the same resistance to this as there has been in America. However, will Hallmark and other companies begin to market whole ranges of other alternative lifestyle cards?
