Orangina Ad banned

The soft drink known as Orangina has always produced adverts, which reflect the background of the drink, a sort of southern French feel to it. However, occasionally companies want to revamp their image, which may have got a little stale.

However, a French based advertising agency got the contract to make a series of new and exciting adverts, which would introduce the product to an older market. This is probably why the new advert had shots of animals wearing bikinis and with Orangina bottles popping all over the place.

Naturally, the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) received numerous complaints about the content of this advert, which was shown on E4 from viewers and from children’s charities. The problem is originally this drink had been marketed to kids, hence the problems.
