Shop worker regrets warranty sales
It can be most annoying when you spend several hundred pounds on something only to get the sales person to ask you if you would like to spend another hundred pound or so on an extended warranty.
This business of warranties has got so bad that even the store staff are getting fed up of them, but this only comes as one of them who sold extended warranties on a regular basis, tried to use one that he sold, now the tide has turned.
They say that it often takes finding out about the product in real life, once they have seen this in practice then they begin to see these products in a different light.
The extended warranties do have a place in the market, but sometimes they are pushed so hard that the purchaser feels that they have no alternative to but to buy an extended warranty.
