Googles phone coming soon

The Apple iPhone killer is about to launched by Google sometime in the next couple of months, but have they left it too late, because the iPhone 3G is going great guns at the moment. If Google could have slipped their phone prior to the iPhone 3G launch then maybe they would have been able to capitalise on the original iPhones problems.

The Google phone is made by HTC and will feature touch screen technology and a whole host mobile applications, which are said to improve internet navigation.

The first phone is to be the first of many Google powered phones, they are looking to improve the way that mobile internet with advertising and search, which of course is no surprise coming from Google.

What is a surprise is the price, this first phone when eventually goes on sale in the US it is going to be around $200 (£100) which is very competitive with the iPhone if it really does compete with it at all.
