Google earns from start page now

One thing about iGoogle is that you can totally control what you are seeing. This is done by adding different widgets and information that are relevant to you, maybe you want to have your Gmail or Google reader on there every time you start, or maybe a feed from somewhere else is appropriate.

Whatever you are choosing depends on the users own tastes, but Google have been making changes to iGoogle and mostly for the good, which makes a change after all there are many things about Google that people do not like.

One such change is being able to take up the entire page with one application, this is good for Gmail and the reader as it makes it easier, but there could be other advantages too. This could involve being able to make some money out it, is this a bad thing?
