Just how much ink is left in the cartridge?
Anyone who has a printer be it at home or in a small business have all experienced the message that say you are running low on ink. So faced with this warning what do people do?
Some get out those new cartridges and throw the old ones away, while there are those who do not have the luxury of having the spares on hand, but still continue to use the printer as normal.
Yet the people who do not change the cartridges immediately often find that the printer continues to do its job regardless of the low ink warning, this can be for days or even weeks depending on how much it is used.
Some experts predict that in some cases the cartridges could be as much as forty per cent full when the warning begins, however some manufacturers claim that running the printer ink completely dry can damage it.
