MP’s don’t queue
If you are somebody who just cannot stand queuing or waiting for anything, then there may be a position that could help you jump the queues ahead of anyone else. Mind you this is not a job for people who wished to be liked or even have the respect of t your fellow citizens.
The job of course is being an MP and along with all of the other perks that they award themselves from time to time, they have now decided that their time is so precious that they should be queuing with the riff raff for services such as travel, bars, cafes & restaurants, taxis and get this one even lifts!
Of course this would only apply to certain establishments, but at a time when MP’s should be showing us how down to earth they can be, this is definitely a step in the wrong direction.
