iPhone hits the stores today

Apple release their famous iPhone today, and unlike the massive queues and rush to buy that we see in the states a few months ago, the publics response has been minimal, yes there are a few die hard Apple fans who have camped outside the Apple Store in Regent St, despite the weather not being that brilliant.

The problem with the iPhone in the UK is the same as in the states, the device is tied to just one network, in this case it is O2, but not everyone is happy with that and they may consider using one of the services that are around that will unlock the iPhone and enable it to work on another network.

Before anyone does this they should consider the fact that this will void the warranty and could even damage the device.
