Cops go shopping with company credit cards

The Metropolitan Police are under the microscope yet again, this time it is for the irregular spending on police credit cards. It appears that officers attached to the SO15 anti terror division are given American Express cards in their undercover names which they use to travel around the country chasing terrorists.

Yet two officers have been arrested for the irregular use of their so called corporate credit cards, it seems that the two officers have been splashing out on clothing, gifts and everything else needed to fund the “James Bond” lifestyle to the tune of £70,000!

Undercover officers are given these cards to fund their out of pocket expenses, but everything has to be declared and accounted for. It would seem that these officers are not short of cash as they can earn up to £100,000 per year, both officers are now on restricted duties while an investigation is underway.
