The future of Apple Stores

There used to many things that were terrible as a buying experience, cars and double glazing spring to mind, and yet these products are no longer at the top of the worst to buy list, in fact it is computers and when you think about it, they could be right.

This is not very good news for Apple and their expanding amount of Apple stores that are appearing throughout the world. Whereas the stores are doing a great amount of business, it would seem that these sales are mainly to the Apple faithful, which is not really the point of the exercise.

For computer stores to survive they will need to explore the needs of the consumer who dos not already own an Apple product, it is a serious problem for Apple as they have stores in high profile areas, but is this really the sector that they should be looking at?
