Tesco fine slow shoppers

You can always tell when it is Christmas, because you seem to get all of the stories coming out that show how mean people are.

In this case the mean person is Tesco the UK’s largest supermarket chain, they have become the “Scrooge” of this years celebrations, because they don’t like people who spend too much time in their stores. Like Roland Hodgson (80) and his wife Pauline (75), they visited their local store in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, after visiting the cafe and then doing their Christmas shopping and spending more that £300 into the bargain, every bodies happy! Well no not exactly.

Shortly afterwards they received a letter from Tesco’s stating that they exceeded the three hour limit, and if this happened again they would be fined £100! Tesco had got the Hodgson’s address through the DVLA and say that they feel that the three hour time limit is fair and reasonable.
