Blockbuster Christmas price hike

The massive film and game rental company Blockbuster has been playing the part of scrooge this year as they have given their customers a price rise instead of a Christmas present, this has angered many of their customers.

Blockbuster run a monthly fee service and it is the highest tier of service that will have to pay the most, their fees have gone from $25 to $35 per month, but they do get unlimited exchanges etc.

The customers were informed by email, and the increases have been justified by the fact they in order for the company to keep providing the top entertainment that they are already doing, then it will cost more as the company’s cost increase to keep up with the market place.
