Apple sells over five million iPhones

Apple will joyfully shout out to the world in the new year that have sold over five million iPhones, which must be a magical number to Steve Jobs and Co, I mean you only have to do the maths on that one to figure out that it works out to a nice turnover.

So the iPhone has been on the market for around six months, this just shows the how brilliant an idea this is, but is it a concept that certain people have bought into rather than a technological break through that they are trying to tell us that it is.

Whether Apple are supremely excellent in marketing and hype (Which they are) or the actual iPhone is a superior piece of technology which will rock the world for years to come, is immaterial the simple fact is, that on these figure the iPhone is a major success and will continue to be so for now.
