McDonalds blame computer games for obesity

The Chief Executive of the famous fast food chain McDonalds UK has blamed the increase in the amount of time kids spend on video games for the increase in childhood obesity in this country.

Steve Easterbrook has told the national newspaper The Times, that his industry does have to take their share of the blame for this issue, but one thing is for sure they are not totally responsible as the individual and the government too have to take their share of the blame.

However it was the mentioning of video gaming which really brought this home, he thinks that children are spending far too much time sitting in front of their computers and games consuls, rather than getting out and about.
