Is the Nintendo seal needed again?
If you remember the older Nintendo games they carried the legendary “Original – Nintendo – Seal of Quality” which was printed in gold on the side of all packaging. There have been calls for this to return and analysts have even been asked to look into it, but they say no it should not be brought back.
The reason for this is simple though, the seal is not a seal of quality, this is where some people get it wrong, the seal is in fact a seal of proving that the product has not been pirated, so it would serve no purpose in bring it back, because there is already other things in place to prevent piracy.
Quality these days comes with customer satisfaction, if people like the products then they will buy and tell everyone else, if on the other hand the product is rubbish the same will happen there too.
