New cheese kills bugs
Kraft foods are developing a brand new product that if successful will be able to treat people who get intestinal worms. This product is being aimed at a specific marketplace which consists of Asia, Africa and South America. These places are well known to have a problem with intestinal worms and this is particularly high in children, which can seriously affect their health.
It is not known exactly what the food type is going to be; only that it will contain certain chemical from Tyra Tech, the company which produces safe pesticides that are made from various plant oils.
The effects of these plant oils were found by mistake as are many discoveries. It happened when the researchers were so hot that the windows to the lab needed to be opened, this however lets insects in, but at the end of the day there was quite a few dead flies around the plant oil and that was the first clue.
