eBay changes seller’s fees

The most famous of all online auction sites eBay is going to be upsetting quite a few of their regular sellers, as they will be increasing the final sale commission meaning that for item that is sold the seller will have to pay more commission, but if the item fails to sell then they will not have to pay for it, so in that respect the seller will actually save money.

The reason why some sellers will save money is because they are also going to shave some points off of the insertion fee, which will help sellers as they will not have to fork out so much money up front in order to sell their items.

In all this seems like a good bit of business practice and something that should have been done a long time ago. But it is in the pipeline now and so things should become much clearer over the coming weeks.
